Fire Suppression

R&T Hood and Duct Services, Inc. services and installs automatic fire suppression systems for restaurants, hotels, hospitals, assisted living residences, grocery stores, paint booths, and more. We can be available to help you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency work or to simply work around your schedule so your normal work routines are not disrupted.

A suppression system service as performed by R&T Hood and Duct Services, Inc. includes service of the chemical cylinder and control head and replacement of all fusible links. The system is physically tested and a R&T Hood and Duct Services, Inc. Confidence Test form is completed. Our Confidence Test form provides our customers with the most complete knowledge of all aspects of the system condition and any recommended modifications. Suppression system services are life-safety issues and are required by NFPA 17 and NFPA 17A as well as manufacturers of the systems every six months.

We are licensed by the State of Washington and our technicians are licensed by the City of Seattle Fire Department. Our employees are certified and trained by Ansul, Pyro-Chem, and Range Guard. We follow the most current edition of the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Standards as well as required maintenance steps as recommended by our Fire Equipment Manufacturers.
